The Primordial Kingdoms of the far south were once bastions for outcasts fleeing the persecution of the Iron See, but have now become a hotbed of dictatorial warlords and slaver barons vying for personal power.

A confederation of scheming houses, the kingdoms consist of several districts lorded over by humans bearing innate magical prowess. These powers have allowed them to shape the desolate lands into bright oases for travelers seeking new lives, only for them to realize that their newfound homes are indeed corrupt feudal systems in which increasingly brutal gangs subjugate one another in hopes of their masters granting them slivers of elemental power.

The Primordials themselves are in an ever shifting position, their importance and power changing with each new dynasty head, and the time between each shortened by politicking and the regular assassination. Double-crosses and schemes abound, the kingdoms are liable to dissolve into chaos should a single errant thread fall loose.

Personality: Primordials live in a society defined by slavery and domination, be it mental, physical, or social. They are constantly on the lookout for ways to get the upper hand on others, as well as plots against themselves.

Primordials live in a state of perpetual vigilance, and rarely form close bonds with others, preferring to press those that would be useful to them into indentured service or slavery. It is very likely, at least in their homeland, that others would seek to do the same, and bonds such as those of romance or friendship often make for exploitable weaknesses best left hidden on the unlikely chance they do occur.

Physical Description: Primordials appear as humans do, though with slight variations dependent upon their respect house and the corresponding elemental power that is prevalent in their blood-line. For example, a Primordial descended from the Salt Baron houses will appear as extremely pale, while another descended from the Stone Baronies will have a darker complexion, and more often than not, very little head or facial hair.

Relations: Due to their indiscriminate slaving practices, very few cultures respect or tolerate Primordials. That being said, there are also very few that won't make use of their bustling slave markets. Overall, the Primordial Kingdoms are viewed as a convenient evil, allowed to exist for the sake of commerce.

Alignment: Exploitative and willing to perpetrate horrid crimes against others for personal gain, Primordials tend towards evil.

Lands: The Primordial Kingdoms occupy an island chain south of Codora, where their lucrative slave and mining industries thrive, allowing them to import whatever else they need from the Kizmeti Empire. The climate of the Kingdoms can vary, but all of the regions contained within its borders are considered dangerous and inhospitable.

Religion: Primordials observe the rites of the Tirgassen, or the assembly of the natural forces. They believe that the elemental forces are deities from which they draw their power were bestowed upon them by the land itself, giving them divine right to act as they please. Primordials outside the clergy seldom observe rites themselves unless they stand to gain something by doing so.

Language: The Agharan tongue is spoken throughout the kingdoms, with slight differences or dialects occurring among the different kingdoms. Outsiders regularly engaging in the slave trade will often know some basic phrases from this language.
